January 10, 2024 - The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved 11 applications for the first U.S.-listed exchange traded funds (ETFs) from major global financial firms that include BlackRock (BLK.N), Ark Investments/21Shares (ABTC.S), Fidelity, Invesco (IVZ.N), VanEck and others. The US move in the world's largest crypto marketplace indicates the continued institutionalization of the asset class, although regulators maintain that caution should remain the watchword for investors, according to an article in Reuters.
